- The Cat Burglars
The cat burglars are the core secretive group of thieves around this land, they are a very strong organization consisting
of pillaging houses and mugging people. Even the main law forces cannot do a thing about them because of their skills. Most
of the cat burglars are very powerful enemies not to be underestimated, they also have a very annoying but effective tendency
of robbing their opponents during battle. They are incredibly quick and can do a very huge pack of damage to their opponents.
- The Orcs
The orcs are the main annoyance of the land after the cat burglars. They are stupid but strong and walk around bashing whatever
they see. They are very fierce warriors and can be hardly beaten alone at some times. They really like gold and gems and the
such.
- The Nations
The Tarons:
The Tarons are the people of Valikorlia who gathered together to fight against any forces that means harm to their lands,
most of the soldiers are peasants that trained themself hard to become able to fight for their country. Their old ruler, Gestahl
Rahl, was a great wizard, but now he is dead, his son, Lance Rahl, is currently ruling the land.
The Dalmars:
The Dalmars are people coming from another land, they started coming on Valikorlia in the main purpose to conquer it.
Now the Dalmars are leading a fierce battle with the Tarons. Their ruler is a man named Paladin.
The Athedians:
Athedia is another army coming from another land, but unlike any other nations, they use very powerful technology and
have a few mages, unlike the other nations. The athedians are powerful, but they seek to conquer everything, leading all the
nations against them. The Athedians are mostly fighting the Empyrians, hoping the Tarons and Dalmars will finish themselves
off. Athedia was ruled by a man named Kain, but now the throne is ruled by his daughter Amy.
The Empyrians:
Empyria is a peaceful nation, their military is much weaker than all the other nations, but their naval forces are incredible.
Their only enemy is the Athedians right now, the Tarons have no interest to fight them, and the Dalmars are busy with the
Tarons. Empyria is ruled by a king named Magnus.
- Jagus Trading Posts
In most cities, there is a trading post used to deliver needed material to other cities. Those trading posts are an enterprise
built by a man named Jagus Lasson, a former man who used to invent new weapons engines for the Tarons. Jagus is now dead,
but his enterprise live on.
The trading posts always need people to deliver items to other cities, it's a constant need because the roads are very
risky.
- The Dragoons
A long time ago, a man named Drakaden came into these lands, this man did many deeds that changed the turns of the war, this
is why this book is dedicated to him and his race.
To note the confusion, dragoons are normally people with a fighting art. But the human-like race that Drakaden is born
as is not human, but they are so alike the dragoons that everyone call their race the Dragoons.
First, what are the dragoons? The dragoons are strong fighters living very far away from Valikorlia, they are born to
fight or control the powerful creatures, the dragons. Most dragoons follow two types of Order, the Old and the New. But the
dragoons never revealed them much, so we do not know much about those.
Drakaden was a dragoon of the Old Order, seeking for the Dragon Spirit, even though his Order forbade him to assist any
sides in the war, many situations made him do a lot that affected the war. Most noticely, he defeated the old ruler of Athedia
in duel, Kain, when they were about to conquer a major part of the lands of Valikorlia. Furthermore, the land was harrassed
by men called the Dark Dragoons, this is when the Dragoons started to fight fiercly in the land of Valikorlia. The Dark Dragoons
were mostly a group of skilled evil men who followed a man controlled by a cursed black helmet, this helmet was the incarnation
of an ancient Dragoon who swore to destroy the Dragoons and all the other living beings. By unknown reasons, the man who has
been controlled by it was Kain, the old ruler of Athedia, everyone thought of him dead until this time. The war was fought
fiercly, and the Dragoons won at the end. The Dragoons also helped a long time ago against the orcs, because the orcs attacked
their homes, striking them back wildly and making the orcs retreat. Drakaden and the Dragoons made many other great deeds
for the land of Valikorlia without their direct intentions, but all the greatest ones has been noted in this book.
- Deities
Daria the goddess of chickens:
A silly-sounding god, yet the stories of this goddess are real.
Daria was originally a simple adventurer, who saved a whole village from starvation in a real time of need, she was providing
the village with meat, mostly chickens. Her way of gathering them was unknown, but her deed has been remembered, and slowly
turned into a worshipping deity. The deity isn't popular out of the village she saved, but it sometimes get known.
The Dragon Spirit:
A god of honor and fiercity, the Ancient Order of the dragoons used to believe a lot in this deity, but after a few generations,
this deity slowly been forgotten, very few new dragoons know about it. This deity is not very used among non-dragoons. His
physical form is one of a dragon knight humanoid.
Kain the dark dragoon:
The evil and scourge of the dragoons, they are the sworn enemies of the dragoons, and are a real threat against the whole
world. Kain, the original king of Athedia, once found a rare helmet of strong powers in his travels, but by wearing it, his
mind corrupted and turned under the helmet's evil will, for the helmet is an evil incarnation itself. In a tough battle, Drakaden
fought Kain and won. Kain didn't die, but the helmet was removed from him and then sealed in a place protected by a magical
seal and by dragoon guards. Rumors goes that the magical seal could only be opened by the Dragon Knight, a hero that show
up in dire times of need, which is related with the Dragon Spirit deity.
Shiva the Grand Matriarch:
Not much is known about this deity, it is a deity coming from a foreign land.
- "How to make golems"
Author: Draka, Wizard Gnome.
--------------
I figured how to create golems, but they require so much skills that i doubt any other races than gnomes magic users can
make them.
What is needed some good tinkering tools, a good pile of ores, or even granite, those useless rocks can be used to make
a pretty good golem. We also need an undead heart in order to keep the golem magically alive.
Once the material is gathered, the magic caster have to magically melt and shape the ores or granite to form the golem,
then he need to merge the undead heart to allow the golem to function.
There is just a thing to never forget: A golem is not smart!
In order to smarten up a golem, the golem need to have "chips" installed into themself, those can be made with
tinkering tools, even though the creation of those chips is very hazardous, so the creator never know what command the chip
will do.
In order to make a chip, the maker need a few iron ores and a mana gem.
Mana gems are a pretty valuable material, a lot of miners underestimate it's value, it's a very powerful rock used in
many process such as enchanting and making special items.
Once the golem is set with chips, he can finally do smart moves, but chips dosen't make the orders shorter to do, this
is why i found a shortcut to make the golem react faster to it's master's orders: A remote control!
A remote control allow the master to simply point at something and the golem will automatically do something, example,
if the master point at the golem itself, he will STOP, if he point at someone, the golem will attack! The remote control has
many good shortcuts, but sometimes the golem dosen't receive them properly and unexpected situations can occur, such as the
golem attacking it's own master.
A remote control require the same type of material as the chips to make.
A golem can be your best bodyguard, worker, buddy, mule, anything! As long the owner know how to make him smart enough.
- "How to use the heat resistant metal"
Author: Draka, Wizard Gnome.
--------------
The metal i have been studying can easily be used to create fire resistant armors for battle usage.
All we need is the needed material for a set of full plate armor, the creation of a lesser armor cannot be made because
the metal is needed to be applied everywhere on the body to be effective.
